The JMT lithium-ion batteries (LiFePO4) are here! They are the premium batteries from JMT - with a special, robust nylon housing and brass terminals for optimal conductivity. What's more, these powerhouses are up to 75% lighter than conventional lead batteries and up to 100% of their capacity can be utilised. They are perfect for motor sport!
Other advantages of these lithium-ion rechargeable batteries: the charge level is regulated via a processor (balancer) and ensures the highest level of safety and reliability offered by modern lithium-ion batteries
- Compact dimensions - in conjunction with the accompanying adhesive pads, these batteries are extremely versatile
- All models are equipped with a charge level indicator - simply press the test button, and a scale shows you how much charge is left
- Up to six times longer life than a conventional lead-acid battery, no memory effect
- Can also be installed upside down because there is no acid to leak out
- Does not contain any heavy metals
- Fast charging with a high charging current is possible
- Very low self-discharge (5% per month at most)
Good to know:
The design of lead-acid batteries means that they are only able to use 30% of their capacity, whereas lithium-ion batteries utilise virtually 100%.
For this reason, lithium batteries from JMT require only 1/3 of the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery to deliver the same cranking power.
Furthermore, an integrated processor (balancer) ensures that all the cells are charged uniformly.
Indicator
All the batteries are equipped with a charge level indicator. Simply press the test button.
Important! Never use a charger that tries to desulfate deeply discharged batteries below 10 V with a voltage greater than 14.9 V before it begins the actual charging.
The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 V must never be exceeded.
We therefore recommend using the chargers shown below ("Compatible products").
