There are few things more annoying than overtightening or otherwise ruining a screw connection when servicing, repairing or tinkering with your motorbike. Shearing off spark plugs, for example, is a common occurrence. On the other hand, nuts and bolts that are too loose can also cause you a lot of trouble. Therefore, always adhere to the torque values specified by the motorbike manufacturer for each screw connection. With these Rothewald torque spanners with 1/4" (10091816), and 3/8" (10091817) drives, you can set and adhere to the values very precisely - the release accuracy is only +/- 3 %! These three spanners are calibrated in accordance with DIN ISO 6789-1:2017 and cover all common Nm ranges on motorbikes. With each of these "premium" Rothewald torque spanners, you can tighten safely and precisely!
The spanners have an easy-to-read main and fine scale in Nm in the viewing window. The turning handles are infinitely adjustable and have a practical locking mechanism. The ratchet head is switchable for clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation (torque only for clockwise rotation) and is very narrow and small. This means you can easily reach nuts and bolts that are difficult to access. The short travel release gives you a clear signal when you have reached the set torque.
