On newer BMW motorbikes, the on-board tools are sometimes rather sparse. This can be annoying if, for example, you need to change a spark plug or remove and refit the front wheel while on the road. Rothewald can help here, as its high-quality and functional special tool set for BMWs is an inexpensive alternative to the tool bag offered by the Bavarian manufacturer.
The Rothewald special tool set is suitable for many BMW Boxer models with 14 and 16 mm spark plug wrench sizes.
What's in it for you:
- One spark plug wrench made of tool steel for spark plugs with 14 and 16 mm hexagons, can also be used as a toggle/extension
- A 13 mm hexagon socket wrench made of CR-V steel as a twist handle for the spark plug wrenches listed above
- A special toggle made of high-strength Aluminium with a spark plug connector puller and a 22 mm hexagon socket for the front axle. To unscrew the axle, simply extend a spark plug wrench with the 13 mm hexagon socket wrench.
- A T45 star wrench made of CR-V steel for loosening/tightening the front axle clamp
Good to know:
Not suitable for the water-cooled R 1200 GBk, as a 19 mm wrench is now required for the front axle. In this regard, we recommend the axle hexagon socket (10009985).
