You walk up to your motorbike, and as if by magic, the engine starts. You’re greeted by the soothing sound of your motorbike. Magic? No—it’s actually the *mo.lock NFC* contactless digital ignition switch from Motogadget. It replaces the mechanical ignition switch and its electrical switching function. When you approach the *mo.lock NFC* lock, the corresponding key turns the ignition on or off contactlessly at a switching distance of approximately 40 mm. Near-Field Communication (NFC) is the technology that makes this possible and, unlike radio remote controls, for example, is extremely tamper-resistant. Each key is unique thanks to its digital code. The Motogadget *mo.lock NFC* thus provides maximum security and convenience for you and your motorbike. Once installed, you can forget about the standard ignition lock—no more keys are needed. NFC technology is tamper-proof.

- Each “key” has a unique code
- The system is not subject to mechanical wear
- Keys do not require a battery and therefore cannot fail
- Indirect switching via a 40 A load relay prevents overloading or contact burning
- Compact design; can be mounted in a concealed location anywhere on the motorbike
- The mo.lock NFC is overmolded with a non-flammable thermoset plastic and is therefore 100% water- and vibration-resistant (IP69)
- The keys are pleasantly small (30 mm in diameter) and lightweight (2 g)
- Additional keys can be programmed to the MO.lock
- The switching distance of approximately 40 mm ensures safe, contactless, and convenient on/off operation while preventing accidental activation
- An integrated RGB LED indicates the status of the *mo.lock NFC* during use and when programming new keys
- To protect the vehicle battery, the *mo.lock NFC* automatically reduces the standby current in three stages (3.2 mA – 1.5 mA – 0.75 mA) when not in use
- Do not use the Motogadget *mo.lock NFC* in conjunction with an immobilizer. Please check with your dealer to see if the immobilizer on your motorbike can be deactivated
