Threadlocker high-strength High strength, Contains 10 g
Prevents unintentional screw loosening and vibration loosening. Hardens quickly and reliably. Can be used on oiled surfaces. Seals screws and prevents leaks. Has good chemical resistance. With a wide temperature range from -60 °C to +150 °C.
For all standard nut and bolt sizes of all grades.
Application
Apply evenly to screws or nuts. Curing takes place in the absence of air (anaerobic). A distinction must be made between active and passive materials in terms of curing time. Active materials are metals with a high iron or copper content (e.g. iron, steel, copper, brass, bronze). Active materials ensure rapid hardening. Passive materials such as high-alloy (stainless) steel, zinc, aluminum or plastics cure very slowly. Curing can be accelerated by briefly heating the components to 70-80 °C.
Other information
Due to the anaerobic properties, it must always be ensured that there is sufficient air in the bottle. Otherwise the adhesive may cure prematurely. The bottle can therefore only be filled up to approx. 1/3 full. However, the filling quantity always corresponds to the content indicated on the container.
