Motorcycle sport gloves are an essential part of your protective clothing, both for the race track and for sporty road biking. Goatskin, cowhide and kangaroo leather are used for the outer shell. Padding and protectors give additional protection. When trying on gloves, check that they can be firmly secured at the wrist. Apart from their protective function, sport gloves need to give the rider a very direct grip and feel for the throttle, clutch and brake, so they only have a thin lining, or are unlined.
