50S Communication System

Discover the 50 series now available in the world of Sena communication systems. This is the Sena 50S communication system with the tried and tested jog dial design. Compared to its predecessors, it has had a comprehensive upgrade in terms of hardware and software, with improvements focussing on the stability of the connections and the sound experience. Bluetooth 5.0 has been introduced and Mesh 2.0 allows 6 people to talk at the same time and up to 24 participants to connect in total.

Sena’s Adaptive Mesh Networking technology allows the group intercom to connect effortlessly. And if a rider goes out of range, the Sena ensures seamless communication with the rest of the group. At the same time, the Sena 50S automatically brings all riders back into the group as soon as they are in range again. With this dynamic group structure, complicated pairing attempts are a thing of the past.

Thanks to Sena’s pioneering Adaptive Mesh Networking technology, which works in combination with Bluetooth, the 50S has more connections than ever before. With an innovative dual antenna and two separate processors, one for Bluetooth and one for Adaptive Mesh Networking, the 50S can connect to each processor simultaneously thanks to multi-operation. This means you can connect up to 3 other communication devices to your Sena 50S headset via Bluetooth 5.0 and then integrate them into an existing Mesh Networking group at the same time.

Communicate clearly and reliably with up to 24 other riders within a maximum range of 2 kmin HD audio quality. The 50S also enables individual group management, allowing you to divide users into groups and differentiate between them. In addition to these private groups, you can search for motorbike riders within a radius of 2 km who are also using a Sena 50S at the touch of a button. You will be automatically connected to them.

Sena 50S Audio Multitasking technology allows you to make calls via Adaptive Mesh Networking and simultaneously stream music from your smartphone via Bluetooth, take or make phone calls and play back detailed GPS navigation instructions. Users no longer have to worry about the interruptions to audio functions familiar from previous Bluetooth communication devices. Now the audio functions no longer interrupt one another, but overlap and provide a pleasant listening experience. Enhance your rides with seamless audio accompaniment.

The Sena smartphone app allows you to configure the device settings (e.g. enter a group of biker friends for the hands-free system) or take a look at the quick guide. Simply pair your mobile phone with your 50S headset and run the Sena smartphone app. This allows you to adjust the settings directly from your smartphone.

The new fast charging function of the 50S offers around 3 hours of operating time after just 20 minutes of charging. On the road, the 50S can be controlled entirely via voice commands. The intuitive technology ensures safe, controlled riding by seamlessly switching between music, phone and intercom functions.

The universal mounting option with clamp and/or adhesive holder and the interchangeable cable and gooseneck microphone of the 50S allows it to be used with almost any helmet, whether jet, flip-up or full-face. The Sena 50S is compatible with Sena’s optimised handlebar remote control and all 20S clamp accessories.

Important note:
The firmware of the headset can be updated. You have 2 options to update the firmware. You can update it with the Wi-Fi adapter or with the Sena Device Manager (PC). If you use the Sena Device Manager for updating, the device must be connected to a PC using a standard USB charging and data cable (USB-C; not included). The Wi-Fi adapter must not be used for this.
