Superbike Flat Aluminium handlebar AN1 7/8 inch, with ABE, silver
The sporty, flat superbike handlebar for better handling and a dynamic look on sports and naked bikes. Made of highly break-resistant, anodized aluminium (wall thickness 4 mm).
Attention: Aluminium handlebars not suitable for mounting on BMW Boxer, K100 - K1100.
Note: The accessory handlebars are supplied without holes for locking the switch unit. These are positioned differently depending on the motorcycle model. Drilling the handlebars for the locking mechanism is permitted: To do this, align your new handlebars optimally on the vehicle. Now test fit the switch units, check that they can move freely in relation to the tank at full steering lock, mark the hole for the lock and drill the handlebars to the appropriate diameter. If you want to avoid the drill bit slipping off the smooth steering tube when converting the handlebars, or if you like to "misjudge" when drilling or somehow always drill at an angle into the workpiece, you should use the Rothewald drilling template, order no. 10029799 (see at the bottom of the picture) - better safe than sorry, such mistakes cannot happen with this.

Accessories with an ABE do not have to be registered in the vehicle documents. However, if you do not want to carry the certificate with you at all times, you can have it registered (at a charge) by the TÜV, for example.
If the accessories are to be used on a vehicle that is not listed in the ABE, an individual approval is necessary.

Water and salt encourage corrosion. After cleaning (e.g. with Procycle Special Gel Cleaner, Order no. 10004909), we recommend regularly polishing aluminium parts with standard aluminium polish (e.g. Alu-Magic, Order no. 10004031).
